bookBeo is based on an innovative concept not yet existing elsewhere : the "interactive book".
The initial concept was linked to rich media content integration (e.g. films, video, animation, multimedia, etc.) in printed books. Today thanks to ever advancing mobile internet technologies, bookBeo develops its concept in many domains (e.g. publishing, marketing, tourism, etc.).
This concept is copyright protected.
In order to maintain its leading market position, bookBeo ensures R&D into mobile web applications and augmented reality.

> R&D
Today, bookBeo works around 3 major fields of R&D :
- Offline marketing elements analytics : billboards, shop windows, printed documentation, packaging, digital signage, etc.
- Access to deaf and hard of hearing persons (handitag) and to mobility impaired people (Ambient Assisted Living program)
- Mobile solution development with pico-projection systems for gesture interpretation.
These developments offer new tools for supporting the decisions around marketing campaigns, accessible user interface that can be accessed form any platform or location, by anybody (incuding elderly or disabled) and new types of mobile sales portals.
